The findings and recommendations of the NC SMHI can be reviewed through their Full Report, Executive Summary and Summary of Recommendations documents.

When effectively utilized, school psychologists and other specialized instructional support personnel (school counselors, school nurses, school social workers) can serve an integral role in the planning and implementation of the policy to support the mental health and well-being of students in NC public schools.
